Job Description
- Create, maintain, and ensure adoption of the Requirements Strategy
- Document approach for requirements for the program/project, including:
- Agile/Waterfall
- Tools/models etc. to be used
- Traceability
- Timing, resources, groups needed etc.
- Any deviations from the standard approach
- Obtain sign-off prior to start of development
- Escalate when strategy is not being followed, and ensure strategy is being followed, or update the approach in the strategy as appropriate
- Document approach for requirements for the program/project, including:
- Create and maintain Business Requirements
- Document & Validate Current State and Future State
- Elicit & document High Level Requirements (Business Benefit, Problem Opportunity Statements, Functional HLR Statements, Non-Functional Statements, Process Maps etc.)
- Document & Manage Risks related to requirements
- Document & Maintain Traceability
- Facilitate presentations, solution demos, recommendations, and business walkthroughs to various audiences such as POD members, business management/executives etc.
- For Waterfall projects, follow TD Enterprise Process Delivery Excellence Requirements Standards (DLR statements etc.)
- For Agile projects,
- Lead/Actively Participate in Story Mapping
- Behavioural Driven Design (BDD)
- User Stories, Definition of Ready (DOR), Definition of Done (DOD), Acceptance Criteria
- Support Pod Activities & Ceremonies (e.g.: sprint planning, backlog prioritization, Retrospective, Daily Stand up, sprint review etc.)
- Identify, engage and support partners as needed throughout the project, including:
- Stakeholders/end users
- Business Architect, Change Management, Accessibility, Performance Testing
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate degree
- Business Analysis Accreditation is an asset
- 5-7 years related business analysis experience
